Before Darien

The Birth of a Dream

Some journeys change the land. Others create a place to call home.

Theodore Darien leaves St. Louis in search of adventure and a future beyond the familiar world. Years later, Aikaterini leaves her Greek homeland, embarking on a journey of her own towards a life she can scarcely imagine.

Their separate paths cross continents and carry them through hardship, uncertainty and change. Though their beginnings are far apart, their journeys will eventually bring them together, bound by the possibility of a different future.

At last, they reach the crest of a hill. Before Aikaterini lies a valley of forests and mountains, with a river flowing through it—a landscape rich with promise, and a future not yet written.

Based on history. Brought to life through imagination.
